Permission Control is the ability to restrict access of Non-Admin Managers to certain features and functionality of Golf Genius Golf Shop. For example, say you have a club repair technician but only want him to have access to the Club Repair feature in Golf Shop. You will be able to add this user as a Non-Admin Manager and restrict his access using Permission Control.

Converting Managers to Non-Admin Managers:
To change a manager admin status, follow these instructions:
Go to Club Details > Managers.
Find the manager you wish to change their admin role and click the box in the "Admin" column (as shown below).
When the box is checked, the manager will be an Admin Manager, and when the box is not checked, the manager will be a Non-Admin Manager.

Editing Non-Admin Managers Permission Controls:
Once a manager is set as a Non-Admin Manager, you will be able to edit their permissions (as shown below). Editing a Non-Admin Managers permission limits their access or completely blocks their access to certain features.

To edit the permission of a Non-Admin Manager, follow these instructions:
Go to Club Details > Managers.
Find the manager to whom you wish to change their permissions and "Edit Permissions."
Edit the managers permission by checking or unchecking the box next to the feature or functionality (as shown below):
Uncheck: Uncheck permissions are features and functions this individual will not have access to or limited access.
Checked: Check permissions are features and functions to which this individual will have access or limited access.
Click "Save."
Permission Control:
When permission controls are set, they will be applied to the web and mobile app. Permission control can be set for the following features:
Special Orders:
Disabled: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
View Only: A manager will have read access to the feature but cannot take any additional action on the web or mobile device.
Cannot Place Order: A manager will have access to the feature but can only create new orders.
Stock Orders:
Disabled: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
View Only: A manager will have read access to the feature but cannot take any additional action on the web or mobile device.
Cannot Place Order: A manager will have access to the feature but can only create new orders.
Demo Clubs: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Rentals: When unchecked, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Club Repairs: When unchecked, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Edit Member and Guest Roster: When restricted, a manager will have read access to this feature. For example, they can view the member list and member details, but the manager cannot take any additional action (i.e., add new, edit, delete, etc.).
Edit Vendor List: When restricted, a manager will have read access to this feature. For example, they can view the vendor list and vendor details, but the manager cannot take any additional action.
Create Emails & Templates: When restricted, a manager will have access to the Email Center, but they will not have the ability to send emails to members and guests or create templates.
Surveys: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Member Portals: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Staff Scheduling: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Tasks:
Disabled: When restricted, this feature will be inaccessible from the web or mobile device.
Cannot Enter or Edit: When checked, this user cannot create or edit a task, but they can access the task dashboard and view, accept, and complete tasks.
