Scheduling Restrictions for Email and Text Messages

Updated over 4 months ago

Whenever scheduling or modifying a scheduled email or text message for a survey or online order form a set of validations and restrictions have been put in place to safeguard managers from sending out these communications. These same safeguards are in place when trying to edit the survey or online order form that has a scheduled email or text message. The following outlines these restrictions for surveys and online order forms:

  • Surveys:

    • Prevent scheduling a survey invitation if the survey is closed.

    • Prevent survey edits if scheduled emails (not paused) are present.

    • Prevent the closing of a survey if scheduled emails (not paused) are present.

  • Online Forms:

    • Prevent Scheduling a new communication or resuming the schedule if:

      • The scheduled date falls outside of the open/close date interval (if set).

      • The form is currently closed, and no automatic opening date is set.

    • Prevent online order form edits (both content & open window) if scheduled emails (not paused) are present.

    • Prevent the closing of an online order form if scheduled emails (not paused) are present.
