Can Online Orders be drop shipped?

Updated over a week ago

Q: We want our members to be able to drop ship their online orders. Can we do that with online order forms?

A: Yes, when setting up your online order form, you will have the option to select whether a customer can drop ship an order. Note: This option is recommended to be enabled only for member-only order forms.

Select one of the following options when setting up the form (as shown below):

  1. Orders Ship to Club (Default Options): Dropship will not be available.

  2. Optionally Allow Drop Ship: Orders can be shipped to the club or drop shipped.

  3. Required Drop Ship: All orders must be drop shipped.

How a Member/Guest Selects a Drop Ship Address

When placing an online order that requires a drop ship address, the system simplifies the process of selecting your shipping address. The experience will vary slightly depending on how many addresses you have saved in your profile.

If You Have One Saved Address

If your member profile has only one saved address, the system will automatically select it for you. This address will be visually highlighted, so you can confirm it is the correct destination without having to manually select it.

If You Have Multiple Saved Addresses

If you have multiple addresses saved in your profile, you can select which one you want to use for the order. Simply choose the desired address from the list of options.

If You Are Adding a New Address

If you need to ship your order to a new address, you can add it during the checkout process. Once you enter and save the new address, the system will automatically select it as the shipping address for your current order.

If You Do Not Have a Saved Address

If you do not have any saved addresses in your profile, the address entry form will be displayed automatically. You will be prompted to enter your shipping address directly, without needing to click an "add new address" button. Once you save the new address, it will be automatically selected for your order.
