Q: I have created my own rental inventory labels, however, when I try to print rental barcode labels from Rentals > Print Barcodes, it is not using the labels I created. How can I change the default barcode template?
A: To update your default barcode template, go to the Report Center > Page Composer. To ensure you are capturing the appropriate details on your labels, separate reports should be made for:
Demo Clubs (For more details about creating Demo labels, Click Here.)
Rentals (For more details about creating Rentla labels, Click Here.)
Members/Guests (For more details about creating Member/Guest labels, Click Here.)
Club Repairs (For more details about creating Club Repair labels, Click Here.)
Edit the existing rental label report, or create a new one, and in the section "Quick Access", check the box for "This is my default barcode label template", (as shown below).
If one of the existing label templates does not meet your specification, Click Here for instructions on how to make your own labels. Once a label is defined as the default, it will be flagged in the Report Center, so you can easily identify it later (as shown below).
Once your default rental inventory label is selected, when you go to Rentals > Print Barcodes, (as shown below). The selected default rental label will be used to print labels.
