Survey Dashboard

Golf Shop has an area dedicated to managing your surveys. To access the Survey Dashboard, go to Communications > Surveys (as shown below).

When accessing the Survey Dashboard, you will see current active surveys on the top half of the page, and at the bottom half, you can view archived surveys (seen above).

From the Survey Dashboard, you will also have access to the following additional pages via buttons:

  • Surveys (Default): The landing page shows all your current and archived surveys.

  • Survey Templates: Templates designed to give you inspiration for your next survey.

  • Email Statistics: Data about the number of recipients, response rate, send details, and open and click rates.

To switch between pages, click on one of the options near the top of the page (as shown below).

In this article, we will discuss the available views and the options within each view.

Surveys:

The Survey view is the default landing page when accessing the Survey Dashboard. When viewing the survey list, your survey will be organized by the date created, with the newest on top. The top table contains all your current surveys and at the bottom, you will also have archived surveys (as shown below).

Active Surveys:

In the Active Survey table, you will see the following columns:

  • Actions: Action you can take on the survey. More details are below.

  • Name: Title given to the survey when creating it. Note: To indicate if a survey is an anonymous survey, an info icon is displayed next to the name of the survey.

  • Total Responses: Total collective responses by members and guests.

  • Member Responses: Number of survey responses by members on your Golf Shop Roster when sending the survey via email.

  • Guest Responses: The number of survey responses by a guest. Guests can respond to surveys by sharing the generic link to the survey.

  • Last Email Send Date: When was the survey last shared by email.

  • Status: What is the status of the survey (e.g., Open, Closed).

When clicking on the "Actions" dropdown for active surveys (as shown below), you will have the following options:

  • Preview: This allows you to preview the survey from your members' perspectives without sending it via email.

  • Get Generic Link: Communicate surveys outside of Golf Shop (e.g., club website, social media, club bulletins, etc.) with members and guests. For more details about sharing a survey with a link, Click Here.

  • Send by email: Send the survey to members on your Golf Shop Roster via email. For more details about sending the survey, Click Here. For details about sending a survey, Click Here.

  • Send reminder email: Send a survey reminder to those members who have not already completed the survey. For more details about sending the survey reminder, Click Here.

  • Send by text message: In conjunction with sending the survey by email, you can also send the survey by text message. For more details about sending the survey, Click Here.

  • Edit: The survey can be edited at any time, whether it is closed or open, as long as no one has responded to the survey. For more details about editing the survey, Click Here.

  • Fill Survey for member: If a member asks you to fill out a survey for this, you can do it using this action. For more details, Click Here.

  • View Results: You can view the survey activity and results as members and guests complete the survey. For more details about viewing survey results, Click Here.

  • Export Results: After closing your survey, you will probably want to view and analyze the results. For details on exporting the survey results, Click Here.

  • Import Results (to Member Profile): After your members have completed a survey, you can import the answers to your member roster profiles if you wish to use the survey to populate member details. For details on importing responses to a member profile, Click Here.

  • View Delivery Reports: View the status of the sent survey emails. For more details about delivery reports, Click Here.

  • Clone: Create a new Survey by cloning an existing one. This is convenient when you have surveys that you conduct annually.

  • Open/Close Survey: Open and closes the survey to be completed by members.

  • Clear Answer (Surveys with Answer Only): If you were testing your survey and need to edit it, you can clear the answers. Note: Do not take this action on a survey that has been sent to members, as you will lose results.

  • Archive: Archives the survey to be accessed later.

  • Delete: Removes the survey. Note: Do this with caution as this action is permanent, and the survey cannot be recovered.

Archived Surveys:

In the Archived Survey table, you will see the following columns:

  • Actions: Action you can take on the archived survey. More details are below.

  • Name: Title given to the survey when it was created. Note: To indicate if a survey is an anonymous survey, an info icon is displayed next to the name of the survey.

When clicking on the "Actions" dropdown for archived surveys (as shown below), you will have the following options:

  • Preview: This allows you to preview the survey from your members' perspectives.

  • Clone: Create a new Survey by cloning an existing one. This is convenient when you have surveys that you conduct annually.

  • Restore: Makes the survey active again and moves it to the top table.

  • Delete: Removes the survey. Note: Do this with caution, as this action is permanent, and the survey cannot be recovered.

Email Statistics:

The Email Statistics page shows you detailed data about surveys sent via email to members on your Golf Shop Roster (as shown below). When viewing this list, your surveys will be organized by the date created, with the newest forms on top. Note: If you have not sent the survey by email, it will not be listed on this page.

In the table, you will be able to preview the following:

  • Name: Title given to the survey when creating it. Note: To indicate if a survey is an anonymous survey, an info icon is displayed next to the name of the survey.

  • Recipients: The total number of members the survey was emailed to directly from the survey.

  • Order Rate: A percentage of members who were sent an email and responded to the survey.

  • Last Sent Date: The last time an email was sent for the survey.

  • Open: The total number of recipients who opened the email.

  • Clicked: The total number of recipients who clicked an email within the email.

The Survey Templates page is a collection of Templates designed to give you inspiration for your next survey (as shown below).
