When entering a special order or stock order, you can select from a list of product categories and subcategories (as shown below) to allow you to easily identify and organize an order.

We provide you with a default list of parent categories and subcategories to select from, however, you have full control over customizing this list.

In this article, we will discuss how you can customize your product categories to meet your club's preferences.

To view and customize your product categories, go to Orders > Merchandise Settings > Product Categories (as shown below).

Your parent categories will be listed along with the number of subcategories within each. You can also create subcategories within subcategories (providing you with as much granularity as you need).

To move a category and change the category order, click the up or down button (as shown below) to move categories.

You can also add a new subcategory within a parent category by clicking the "+" button, entering the category name (as shown below), and saving it.

If you'd like to change the name of a category or move it to another parent category, click the "edit" button (as shown below).

You can then change the name or switch the parent category (as shown below).

If you need to permanently delete an unused category, click the delete button (as shown below).
