TM Player Gifts: Automated Player Order Receipt Messages

Updated this week

This guide is for the following Golf Genius Tournament Management products using the Player Gifts feature for their Events/Leagues:

When using online ordering, automated email messages are sent to the player. For example, when a player places an online order, they will receive an email confirmation that the club has received it (if enabled). This is a great message to send to ensure they know the club received their online order. It also includes details of their order and a link to modify the order if the online order form is still open.

You will want to review the automated messages to ensure they meet your facility's needs.

Customize Automated Email Message

To customize the automated emails that players (guests) receive, follow these directions:

  1. Navigate to the Online Order Form Dashboard (Orders > Special Orders > Online Order Forms).

  2. Click the Action Dropdown for the order form you are working with.

  3. Select the option "Order Submitted by Guest" (as shown below).

  4. Toggle the switch to "Customize Text Message."

  5. Edit the email where necessary. A rich-text editor will be available to format the email body. You can also add many of the fields listed on the right.

  6. After making the changes, click "Refresh Preview" to preview the email.

  7. Click "Save."

The default automated email message will be saved and applied to future notifications.
