Getting Started with Member Portals

Member Portals are customizable websites that can be shared with your members to view personalized information about:

  • Special Orders: View current and past special order details.

  • Demo Clubs: View current and past demo details, view the inventory, reserve demo clubs, and be notified when clubs become available.

  • Club Repair: View current and past club repair details and request a repair.

  • Online Orders: Access one or more open Online Order Forms and purchase online.

  • Member Profile: Members can access their Golf Shop Member Profile (e.g., sizing information, "What's in the Bag," brand preferences, etc.) and make updates as allowed.

  • Collage Pages: Create customizable pages highlighting golf shop hours, news, staff biographies, and other information.

You can create one Member Portal page that all your members would access, or you can create several pages for each club (e.g., men's, women's, Niners, etc.) or season (e.g., Spring, Fall, Winter, etc.).

Accessing Your Member Portal Setup

To access your Member Portal setup page, go to Communication > Member Portals (as shown below).

Utilizing Member Portal Templates

To make setting up a Golf Shop Member Portal easier, select from different templates (so you don't have to build your page from scratch) and customize it further. You can also create Member Portal pages for different seasons so your page is focused on what matters most.

Creating New Member Portal Pages

If you wish to create your Member Portal page from scratch, go to Communications > Member Portals > Create New. You will be walked through all the steps to create your page.

Member Portals Appearance and Brand Setting

The appearance and Branding of your Member Portals ensure your members get the look and feel they have come to expect when visiting your club site. There are various ways to Brand Member Portals to get the look and feel your members have come to expect. For instance, you can:

  • Add your banner

  • Add a background image

  • Change the color scheme

  • Add a flash message

Member Portals Layout

Member Portals allows managers to create a single cohesive page with a flexible layout that can include multiple tabs, blocks, columns, and tiles, making it easy for your members to navigate and find the information they are looking for. There are various ways to design and customize Member Portals to display the information you want, where you want it, and how you want it to look. For instance, you can:

  • Organizing by tabs

  • Adding Blocks to tabs

  • Creating Columns within blocks

  • Adding a variety of tiles to blocks

Member Portal Tiles

Member Portal tiles contain the information that will help populate Member Portals. Some of these tiles can be customized, while others require no customization. The following tiles can be added:

  • Special Orders Tile: Display members current and past special order details.

  • Demo Clubs Tile: Display members current and past demo details, view the inventory, reserve demo clubs, and be notified when clubs become available.

  • Club Repair Tile: Display members current and past club repair details and an option to request a club repair.

  • Online Order Tile: Allow members Access to open Online Order Forms.

  • Member Profile Tile: Display members Golf Shop Member Profile (e.g., sizing information, "What's in the Bag," brand preferences, etc.) and make updates as allowed.

  • Collage Page Tile: Display customizable pages highlighting golf shop hours, news, staff biographies, and other information.

  • HTML Tile: Embed HTML to add more content from other sources.

Manager Access

As a manager, you can access Member Portals by logging into the manager site and going to Communications > Member Portals on the left side menu. From there, click the action dropdown for any page and click "Preview." From here, you can preview the page just as your members would.

Member Access

As a member, Member Portals can be accessed via:

  • Authentication using Member Fields

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Links (Integrations)

    • Clubessentials

    • Jonas

Sharing Member Portals with Members

Getting your members to use Member Portals enables your members to access all the available information, surveys, order forms, and more on your Member Portal site. You can share Member Portals in several ways, and here are some of the recommended options for sharing Member Portals:

  • Club Website: The club website is a convenient place for members to view event information, sales, shop hours, make reservations, and so much more. Add Member Portals to your club website, making it more accessible to your members. For more details, Click Here.
