Golf Shop Analytics
Golf Shop offers several useful reports to help you analyze shop activity. To expand on this capability, we are introducing new analytics dashboards. These interactive dashboards, always available at your fingertips, serve up information and tools to help you manage shop activity more efficiently and effectively.
The new Home Dashboard (shown below) will be your new landing page. This page summarizes the important information in your Golf Shop account across all capabilities.
We're also introducing dedicated analytic dashboards for four major features (Special Orders, Demo Clubs, Club Repair, and Stock Orders). These dynamic dashboards are comprised of useful charts, graphs, and other data filtered by specific time ranges. Check out the Special Order Analytics Dashboard below.

Golf Grip Inventory
Our Club Repair feature continues to be a popular tool for managing repairs. Feedback indicates the most common type of repair is regripping, and maintaining an optimal grip inventory is very important. But keeping track of units in stock, especially the brand and size mix, can be a challenge. It would also benefit members if they could easily evaluate the grip options you offer.
Golf Shop now enables you to create and manage a grip inventory, thereby helping you be more proactive while providing a better service to your members. Here's how it works:
Create an inventory of different grips with pertinent details like quantity, description, images, etc.
When creating a regripping repair, select from the list of available grips. Inventory data will automatically adjust.
Allow members to view the available grips. Also, allow them to request a repair in Member Portals (as shown below) or through an email blast.
Activate automated notifications to managers when inventory is low for a particular grip.

Golf Stix/2nd Swing Trade-In Widget
Golf Stix Value Guide is a popular club trade-in service that allows you to trade in used clubs for your members. If you have a Golf Stix account, you can now include your Trade-In Widget directly into your Member Portals, allowing your members to look up club values and request trade-ins. This widget can create revenue for your shop by enabling members to trade clubs in exchange for shop credit.

Template Options in Member Portals
Member Portals are a great solution for connecting with your members and providing them access to useful information like current demo club inventory, special order status, grip inventory, open online orders, and more.
To ease the setup of a Member Portal, you can now select from different templates (rather than building a page from scratch). Once a template is imported, you can further customize your page to fit the needs of your club.

Bulk Text Messages
You can now communicate with your membership through bulk text messaging, providing you with another way to promote shop sales, events, and other useful information to your membership.

Daily Snapshot
As Golf Shop managers take advantage of new features and increase overall usage, they may find it challenging to stay on top of everything going on. This is especially true during the busy golf season, when special orders are constantly being placed, demo clubs are streaming in and out of the shop, and overall operations are moving at a rapid pace.
If you are looking for a simple and effective way to stay proactive and up to date, you can now take advantage of Golf Shop’s Daily Snapshot, a new automated email for shop managers. This concise and easy-to-read email summarizes recent activity and highlights important and actionable information to help you be more productive.
The Daily Snapshot can include information on special orders, demo clubs, club repair, stock orders, online order forms, surveys, and even upcoming member birthdays. Managers can completely customize their Daily Snapshot to include all information they find useful.
You'll receive your first Daily Snapshot beginning Monday. You will also see a link to customize your content and notification settings.

Permission Control
Previously, all managers had full access to every feature in your Golf Shop account. While this may often be your preference, there may be cases where you want to limit access to specific managers.
To better meet your precise needs, we now enable you to limit permissions for specific managers (both on the web and mobile app) by:
Restricting access to specific features (e.g., Special Orders, Stock Orders, Surveys, Bulk Emails, etc.)
Allowing view-only access for Special Orders, Stock Orders, Vendor Lists, and the Member Roster
Providing the ability to enter special orders, but not place them
In the example below, the manager has access only to club repair, demo clubs, and the member roster.

General Survey & Online Order Links
Sending surveys and online order forms from Golf Shop (via email or text message) generates unique links for every member. These unique links enable members to answer surveys or place online orders without having to log in or further validate their identity.
As an alternative to member-unique links, you can now use a single generic link for any survey or online order form. This option allows you to:
Communicate online orders and surveys outside of Golf Shop (e.g., club website, social media, club bulletins, etc).
Optionally allow guests to complete surveys and place online orders.
Members accessing the link can validate themselves with a member field answer while guests can enter their contact details.

Stock Order Reporting
Earlier this summer, we introduced the Detailed Entry method in our Stock Order feature. This method allows you to enter important line-item order information such as size, color, and more.
We've now introduced our Detailed Stock Order Report, which contains very useful information to assist with your merchandise and assortment planning. This report provides insights such as:
How many XL mens polo shirts do I have on order for the upcoming season?
How many blue ladies shirts did we order last season?
What is the vendor breakdown for ladies bottoms this season?
You can generate this report for specific categories and date ranges to give you the precise report you are looking for. Check out the example mens shirts report below.

Stock Orders on the Mobile App
We are now introducing the Stock Order feature to our mobile app. With this update, you can:
View the monthly calendar of your stock orders and important details for every order.
Quickly create draft orders in a consolidated form that allows you to scan files, upload files, and take photos of your merchandise.
Wherever your schedule takes you, this new mobile feature enables you to access and manage your stock orders on the go.

Staff Scheduling Enhancements
Our Staff Scheduling feature continues to get better with more enhancements:
A new dashboard is now available that can act as your landing page. It is organized into widgets with useful scheduling information and can be customized to your liking. The Request Summary Widget is the first widget to be released (others will be released in the near future). Click Here for details.
The new monthly calendar (see below) allows you to view a staff member's schedule by month with a sleek visual presentation. Click Here for details.

RepSpark Integration
Our highly anticipated RepSpark integration is now available to all Golf Shop customers. RepSpark is a leading B2B eCommerce wholesale platform that makes the transaction process easier for buyers and is trusted by over 50 golf brands (it's also free to the buyer!). This integration automates the special order process, eliminates double entry and mistakes, and provides timely updates to your members. Check out the video to see how it works.

Detailed Entry for Stock Orders
Since being introduced last November, our Stock Order Tracking feature has become a very popular tool, allowing Golf Shop customers to organize and track their Stock and Pre-Book Orders easily.
To further enhance this feature, we are introducing a line entry method that enables you to enter the following detailed information for every item within an order:
SKU/Style #
Description
Color Group
Quantity by Size (using customizable sizing lines)
Logo Information
Wholesale and Logo Cost
And other item information
This user-friendly entry method will help with your assortment planning and allow you to monitor your orders at a much more granular level. In a future release, we'll introduce reports that will make it easier to answer questions like "how many men's large shirts do I have on order across all my vendors?" or "how many black shirts did I order last season?".

Scan and Upload Documents with the Mobile App
Rather than storing special order and club repair documents in a three-ring binder, Golf Shop now allows you to scan and upload files directly from our mobile app to specific club repairs and special orders, reducing office clutter.

Surveys
Our Surveys feature continues to be a valuable tool that helps you learn more about your membership and assist with buying decisions. To build on this feature, we are introducing the following improvements:
Conditional Survey Questions: This enhancement means a respondent's chosen answer will determine the next question they see (as shown below).
"Other" Response: For multiple-choice or multiple answer questions, you can now give respondents an additional option to choose “Other” and enter the answer in the text box (as shown below).
Re-order survey answers: You can now easily re-order answers to a question using drag and drop.

Online Order Forms
Our Online Order Form feature continues to be a great solution for generating additional revenue in the shop. Here are some improvements we've made to this feature:
Set Item Quantity: You can now set the general quantity available for your items. Sold out items will be listed appropriately on the Online Order Form (as shown below) and the quantity can be adjusted at any time by the Manager.
Text Online Orders: As an alternative to communicating Online Orders via email, you can now send text messages to your members with a link to the Order Form (as shown below).

Mobile App
Our Member Search area in the mobile app allows you to quickly search and access member information within seconds. In our next update, we will introduce the following improvements to this area:
Access and manage member club repairs
New Contact button (for quick member communication)
Manage member notifications, activity log, files, and other detailed information for all special orders and club repairs

Staff Scheduling
Our popular Staff Scheduling feature is a great management tool to help you control your golf operation's staff schedule. Here are some recent improvements to this feature:
Delete multiple future time off requests in one go
Delete duties in the Edit Shift Modal (Schedule Builder: Shift View)
View total user count on the User Page
Auto approve shift swaps and pickups if they don't trigger overtime
Republish an individual user's schedule
Reminder (bell) in Shift View indicating if open duties have not been published

Member Portals
We continue to focus on providing innovative ways to help you connect with your membership. For example, we know from your feedback that our automated text and email notifications have become an indispensable part of our product. Now we're adding another powerful way to connect with the introduction of a new feature, Member Portals, that gives your members direct access to useful Golf Shop information.
Member Portals are a customizable and professionally polished page that can be shared with your members on your club website or elsewhere (e.g., social media, email, etc).
Create your Member Portals by adding widgets from the list below. Personalized information will then become available on an individual member basis.
Demo Clubs: View current and past demo details, view the inventory, reserve demo clubs, and be notified when clubs become available
Special Orders: View current and past special order details
Club Repair: View current and past club repair details, and make a club repair request
Online Orders: Access one or more open Online Order Forms to make online purchases
Member Profile: Access their Golf Shop Member Profile (e.g., sizing information, "What's in the Bag", brand preferences, etc)
Collage Pages: Create customizable pages to highlight golf shop hours, news, staff biographies, and other information.
Note: SSO (Single Sign On) will initially be available for our Clubessential customers while others can use a simplified custom field validation method to provide access for their members.

Club Repair on the Mobile App
Club repair work rarely takes place on the golf shop counter next to a computer. For this aspect of the golf shop operation, it would be helpful if you and your staff could manage club repair requests and inquiries on the fly.
In our upcoming mobile app update, we're introducing the Club Repair feature, which will allow you to enter and manage your club repair jobs directly from the app wherever you are.
The update for this feature will be available in the next couple of days. If you haven't already, you can download the Golf Genius Golf Shop mobile app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
