Q: Why isn't my recurring task being recreated each day, week, month, or year?

A: There are a few common reasons why a recurring task may not be recreating as expected:
The recurring task has reached the maximum limit of 10 uncompleted instances. Once the limit is reached, no new instances will be created until some of the existing tasks have been marked as completed or deleted.
The recurring task has reached its defined end date. Once the end date has passed, no new instances will be created.
The recurring task instances are created via a daily background job that runs at midnight. If you are expecting a new instance to appear, check back after midnight the day of the next task event.
Note: If a recurring task has accumulated multiple overdue instances on the dashboard, you can mark all of them as complete at once using Complete All Tasks to Date in the task actions dropdown. For complete details, Click Here.
