Uploading New Vendors via Spreadsheet

Updated over 3 months ago

Adding and maintaining vendors in your Vendor List can be done in many different ways. One of the methods is via spreadsheet.

In this article, we will discuss the following:

  • Adding New Vendors Via Spreadsheet

    • Compiling a Spreadsheet for New Vendors

    • Uploading a Spreadsheet for New Vendors

Compiling a Spreadsheet for New Vendors:

Below is an example of a spreadsheet that can be uploaded.

Before uploading, the following must be adhered to:

  • The spreadsheet must be in XLS, XLSX, or CSV format.

  • The spreadsheet must have only one worksheet.

  • The first row must have column headings (e.g., vendor name, email, account number).

  • Each row should only have the data for one vendor.

  • The vendor name is a required column.

We highly suggest including:

  • Account Number: The vendor would provide the account number for you to reference when placing an order with a particular vendor.

  • Email: When placing a special order, you can send the orders via email to the vendor.

  • B2B Website: When placing a special order, a link to the vendor portal page to place online orders will be provided for easy access.

  • Phone: When placing a special order, these details are provided for easy access.

  • Club Repair Vendor: If a vendor is an offsite location where you send clubs to be repaired, mark them with a "Yes" so they can be used as offsite vendors for Managing Club Repairs.

  • Other Custom Fields: You can add any additional essential fields like vendor address, rep details, internal vendor numbers, and more. These may be useful when placing special orders or looking for vendor details. For more info on creating custom fields, Click Here.

Uploading a Spreadsheet for New Vendors:

When the spreadsheet is compiled and ready to upload, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Club Details > Vendor > Roster > Choose File.

  2. Find and select the spreadsheet from your computer and then click "Open."

  3. Click "Import Spreadsheet."

  4. We will automatically match some columns. However, some unmatched columns may need to match, choose to skip, or create new custom fields.

  5. Once all the columns are matched, click "Import Spreadsheet," and the vendor will be loaded.

  6. Click "Back" once the import is finalized (as shown below).
