Shaft Labels
Generating customized shaft labels for your membership is a great way to provide exceptional service. With this release, we're introducing the ability to design and quickly generate shaft labels for your members (and even guests).
Printing labels is a streamlined process. Simply select the member (or enter the guest name), number of labels, and starting point on the sheet. The labels can then be generated in PDF format.
If your club uses Greenbriar Golf Shaft Labels or popular Avery labels, templates will already be provided for you. You can further customize these templates or create new templates from scratch.
This feature can also be used to create labels for your demo inventory. The labels can include club contact information, Tracking ID, and other important demo club information.

Enhancements to Multiple Item Orders
A common special order scenario in the golf shop is when a member orders multiple items from a vendor. For instance, a member may order a driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood from Titleist. While our software always had the ability to handle this scenario, there was room for improvement to make the process easier and quicker. Because of this, we've launched the following enhancements:
More Intuitive Terminology: We've made some terminology changes that will help our users avoid confusion and better understand how to handle multiple items in an order. To better understand the key concepts and terminology, Click Here.
Faster Order Creation: When creating multiple special orders rolled into a single purchase order, you can now quickly "add another item" to the order which prefills many of the fields (expediting the order entry process).
Automated Notification Batching: Your customers can now receive a single email or text message notification (rather than multiple).
Bulk Action: You can now perform an action (e.g., Move to Delivered, enter shipping details, etc) to multiple special orders within a purchase order all at once, removing clicks and speeding up the special order process.
Grouping Orders on the Dashboard: We've enhanced the look of the dashboard (shown below) to clearly show the special orders that are grouped together in a single purchase order.

Imported Special Order Forms
Earlier in the year, we introduced the ability to build custom special order forms by product category. While this feature was well received by our customers, we realized that it could be time-consuming to build these forms. To expedite this process and help the adoption of this useful feature, we've imported default forms into your account for all product categories where forms have not yet been created.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Additional Enhancements
The following enhancements have also been included in this release:
Cloning Surveys
Member Roster Summary Page customization

Purchase Order Report now includes Invoice Number, Member Number, Wholesale Price, Shipping Company, Shipping Cost, Total Cost, and Vendor Account Number
Store the POS Receipt # when marking an order as charged
Upload or update vendor list via spreadsheet
Upgraded text editor for drafting emails
Filter email recipients by gender (and other system fields)

Customizable Reporting
Until now, our Report Center contained a set list of standard special order reports. While these reports were suitable for most of our customers, we realized that many need further customization to fit the needs of their operation.
As a solution, we're introducing the following customizable report templates:
Special Order Details: This report includes valuable information regarding a special order that could be beneficial for internal use (pictured below).
Customer Order Confirmation: This report includes order confirmation details that could be valuable to share with your members. For easy communication, it can be automatically attached to the "Order Placed" email and linked in the text message to the member.
You can easily print, copy, and edit these templates at your convenience. By adapting the Page Composer functionality found in our Tournament Management product, you can customize these PDF reports with text fields, data fields, images, and other objects.
In addition to using the two templates mentioned above, you can also create new special order reports from scratch.

Special Order File Upload
Managing special orders often requires the organization of many documents. With order forms, vendor invoices, receipts, and other hard copy documents, you may find yourself looking for a way to keep everything together.
To reduce the clutter and improve organization, we're introducing the ability to upload and contain these files within a special order. This allows you to keep the documents related to a special order together and organized all in one place.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Automated Shipping Updates
A common question in the golf shop is "Where is my order?". Previously, an order could only be labeled as "Shipped" on the dashboard without providing any additional shipping details.
To provide a timely answer to this question, you can now easily get detailed updates right from the Special Order Dashboard.
To streamline the order process, you can also have the order automatically move to the "Received by Club" stage once the shipping company makes the delivery, instantly notifying the member once the order has arrived on property. You can enable or disable this transition setting depending on your preference.

Improved Demo Club Selection
Previously, only the Tracking ID was displayed when selecting a club to check out. This would potentially make it difficult to confirm the right club was chosen.
Now, you can display additional club details in the dropdown menu, making it easier to find the right club. You also have full control on what details are displayed.

Vendor List Customization
We've found that the vendor summary page is a popular place to go to quickly find vendor information. However, important custom fields (e.g., Sales Rep Name, Sales Rep Phone, etc) were hidden from view.
As a solution, we're introducing the ability to include any vendor custom fields on the summary page.

Custom Product Categories
Previously, when entering a special order, you could only choose from a standard list of product categories and sub categories. Often, this list did not align with the club's category preferences. Many categories may be unneeded while others may be missing.
To solve this, we've now given you full customization of these product categories. You can add, remove, rename, and reorder categories or sub categories. When doing so, you can create the optimal list that will allow you to efficiently enter and organize your orders.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Custom Special Order Forms
Special orders contain different product information depending on the product category. For example loft, shaft, and flex are needed for a driver while pants should contain waist, length, and color. Previously, this information could only be entered in the "Item Description" field for all categories which limited the organization of the product information.
With our new special order form improvements, that is no longer the case. Using drag and drop, you can now create and organize relevant special order fields for each product category.
When entering a special order, the fields will be available in the form, making order entry easy and organized. You can also link current member profile fields with special order fields, allowing information to automatically pre-fill in the form. For instance, after selecting a member in the special order form, their sizes can automatically populate in the form, saving you time and phone calls.

Staff Activity Log
Oftentimes, there are multiple staff members involved in a special order process making it critical to know who did what and when. If a question arises, staff members need to know the person to ask. This is equally important for demo club management.
Because of this, we've improved our auditing capabilities by introducing a dedicated staff activity log for every special order and demo. When viewing a special order or demo, you can view the actions taken, who took them, and the time stamp.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Infrastructure Improvements
As Golf Genius Golf Shop continues to grow in both users and features, it is important to have the proper infrastructure in place to support this growth.
To accomplish this, we've launched a new and improved infrastructure system. While you may not notice an immediate difference, this new system will play a critical role in the development of new and exciting features in the future.

Enhanced Notification Settings
We understand that members have their own notification preferences. For instance, some members prefer text messages while others prefer email. To accommodate this need, we are introducing the ability to control notification settings at the member level.
In addition, you can even enable or disable notifications for specific special orders or demos. Is the order a gift for the member? Turn off the notifications for that specific order without affecting their member-level settings.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Easily Update Contact Details
Customer contact information and preferences can now be viewed and managed within your special orders and demos. If a customer's email or cell phone number needs to be entered or updated, you can do it directly within the special order or demo.
As you can see, we've also improved the layout of the special order area adding separate tabs for customer, order, and vendor information. This keeps your special order information organized and easily accessible.
New Demo Notifications
Our automatic customer notifications continue to be one of our most popular features. To meet the growing demand for more notifications, we've added the options for customers to receive a confirmation email or text message when they:
Check out a demo club
Return a demo club
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.

Surveys
We are excited to introduce the ability to create customizable surveys for your membership. These surveys can be sent via email to some (using custom field filtering) or all of your members.
As members complete a survey, you can monitor the responses and view the results. Various charts will populate to give you a high-level view of the responses.
To help build detailed member profiles, the responses can even be imported as member custom fields. This is a great way to collect and contain sizing information, member preferences, and other important member details.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Email Center
You now have the ability to compose and send general emails to your members. The rich text editor enables you to draft nicely formatted emails with links, images, files, and videos. The recipient list can include a single member, a filtered list of members, or your entire membership.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Member Custom Field Categories
You can now organize your member custom fields into categories (e.g., sizing, member preferences, club fitting specs, etc). By doing this, member profiles will be well organized and much more visually appealing.
