Enhanced AI Stock Order Assistant

Earlier this year, we introduced the innovative AI Stock Order Assistant, powered by Google Gemini. This feature uploads an order PDF from the vendor, extracts the data, and creates a new Stock Order within seconds.

After listening to customer feedback, we learned that the upload results could be improved. For instance, sometimes the size quantities were incorrect. We're happy to report that we've now tested and launched the new Google Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, which vastly improves the upload results.

Set Item Quantities by Field Values for Online Orders

The Online Order Form feature is an immensely popular feature this time of year for end-of-season sales, holiday sales, and clearance sales. Some of these sales, like clearance sales, require available quantities to be entered for each item. Previously, only a single quantity could be entered per item which would require creating multiple items for different sizes and colors.

Now you can create one item and set the available quantities by field values (e.g., size, color, etc) using an easy-to-use table during the setup (as shown below).

TM Tee Gift Integration Improvements

Our Online Order Form feature enables you to integrate with Golf Genius TM by connecting a TM Event/League roster to an Online Order Form and collect orders from the players. This is a great solution for member-guest tee gifts, league uniforms, and corporate event gifts.

We've enhanced and tightened up this integration by introducing an instant sync between the TM roster and the Online Order Form. We've also added a new automated email and text communication that can be sent to players once they are added to a TM event roster (as shown below) which greatly streamlines the communication process for player gifts.

Task Management in the Mobile App

Last November, we introduced the Task Management feature on the web. This increasingly popular feature is used by clubs to efficiently and effectively manage tasks relevant to golf shop operations.

We've now added this feature to the mobile app, making it even more powerful and accessible to you and your entire staff. You can view, add, and manage tasks assigned to you and others right from your fingertips.

New Club Repair Reports

We've made significant enhancements to our Club Repair feature by adding the following reports and labels:

  • Club Repair Labels: Using our Page Composer, you can create customizable repair labels (or tags) that can be attached to the clubs ensuring repaired clubs are easily identifiable with the proper repair details.

  • Club Repair Detailed Report: This highly customizable PDF report (shown below) enables you to create a detailed report of your repairs with details suitable for your operation.

  • Club Repair Report: This XLS spreadsheet will export repair details for all repairs within a selected time window.

  • Historical Grip Report: This XLS spreadsheet lists historical golf grip data (grips sold, grip activity by member, all grip activity) within a customizable time period.

Special Order Reminder Email

In most cases, after a special order is marked as delivered (and the member receives an automated email), the member will stop by the shop to receive their order. However, sometimes the member may overlook or forget about the email.

In this scenario, we now make it easy to send a delivery reminder email directly from the Special Order Dashboard (as shown below).

Lost and Found

Many golf shops are stuck with inefficient and unorganized methods of managing lost and found items using paper binders, sticky notes, and a cluttered drawer full of found items. If your shop also suffers from this chaos, we have great news.

We're excited to announce the release of a major new feature: Lost and Found Management. This feature is designed specifically for golf shop operations with the following key features:

  • Quick Item Logging: A simple item entry form to log lost and found items along with pertinent information (and even images)

  • Centralized Dashboard: This easy-to-use dashboard provides a comprehensive view of all lost and found items, allowing for easy management, filtering, and searching.

  • Automated Notifications: Efficiently keep your members informed about the status of their lost items with automated text and email notifications

  • Custom Settings: Create custom item categories and authorized pickup locations

Utilizing this feature will create an organized and efficient process for managing lost and found items. Your members will surely appreciate it as well.

Home Dashboard Enhancements

The Home Dashboard displays a high-level view of information regarding the activity in your Golf Shop account. We've added a few enhancements to this feature:

  • Ability to customize the order of the tiles (and list more important tiles at the top)

  • Addition of the Task Feature Tile

  • Addition of the Rental Feature Tile

The New AI Stock Order Assistant

AI has officially arrived in Golf Shop.

With the new AI Stock Order Assistant, powered by Google Gemini, creating new stock orders is a breeze. Rather than manually entering new stock order details (e.g., quantity by size, color, SKU, order #, etc), upload a vendor order confirmation PDF instead. The order information will be extracted, analyzed, and imported into a new stock order within seconds. Any mismatches? No worries, we provide some new tools to easily fix them.

With this level of detail now stored within your stock orders, you can create valuable reports to better optimize your inventory and drive more sales.

Clubessential Master Roster Sync

If you are a Clubessential customer, you can now sync your Clubessential member roster directly to Golf Shop. With this integration, you can:

  • Select the Clubessential member fields to sync to your Golf Shop roster

  • Exclude certain members from the sync using filtering rules (e.g., filter by member type)
