Stock Order Tracking
During the season, stock inventory deliveries arrive almost daily. In fact, it's probably a safe assumption you know your UPS and FedEx drivers by their first name! We know how difficult it is to manage the constant wave of stock orders especially during a time when supply chain issues are common and result in many back-ordered, delayed, and canceled items.
To help better manage your orders, we are excited to announce our new Stock Order feature. Now, you can proactively track and monitor all of your stock and pre-book orders in one place. By having a pulse on all your orders and their expected delivery timeframes, you can more effectively plan your inventory and maximize shop revenue.
Simply enter all the pertinent information about your stock inventory or pre-book orders and upload relevant files/images (keeping everything organized and easily accessible).
After orders are entered, you can view them in Pipeline View or Calendar View (as shown below). Our Calendar View gives you a great snapshot of your incoming orders and allows you to prepare and make adjustments when necessary.
With this feature, you can also:
Split orders (in the event of back-ordered items)
Fully cancel or partially cancel orders
Export useful reports to analyze your orders

New Mobile App Features
The following enhancements will be introduced in our next mobile app update (available early next week in your Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
Demo Dashboard & Inventory:
Demo club exchanges are often made away from the shop making our mobile app a great solution to manage demos on the fly. With our next mobile app update, you'll be able to access your entire demo dashboard as well as your inventory directly in the Golf Shop app.
Staff Scheduling Single Sign-On:
Our Staff Scheduling feature (Powered by SchedulePop for Clubs) has become a very valuable feature for many of our customers. To provide a seamless mobile app experience, you will now be able to access the SchedulePop app through our mobile app (using Single-Sign-On).
Please note that you must also update your SchedulePop mobile app to activate this feature.

Infrastructure Upgrade
We are continuing to invest in the infrastructure of Golf Shop as our customer base and feature list continue to grow. In this release, we've made some major front-end infrastructure improvements. These improvements provide a modern look, quicker and more responsive user experience, and make it easier for us to efficiently improve and build the product.

Online Member Ordering
Offering "seasonal" or "flash" sales to your members is a great way to generate more revenue. These sales typically include special offerings like "Four for Three" customized golf balls, personalized travel bags, Mother's Day gifts, or Fall outerwear.
In the past, these sales have been cumbersome and time-consuming to manage. We are excited to introduce a streamlined and efficient solution: Online Member Order Forms. This new feature is designed to simplify the ordering process and allow you to easily generate more revenue while providing a unique service to your members. Here's how it works:
Create an online order form with one or more items (with customizable purchase options)
Compose and send an email blast to all (or a targeted list) of your members that includes a link to the order form. This link is unique for every member (which removes the need for any member login or validation)
Allow the members to select and place their orders through the online form
Orders then populate on the Special Order Dashboard as a single purchase order, ready to be placed to the vendor.

Customize Notifications on the Fly
While you've always had the ability to customize messaging in your automated notifications (through email and text templates), you've probably wanted to customize specific notification instances to, for example, wish a member happy birthday or to let them know their item is in their locker.
Now, you can easily customize these notification instances on the fly (before sending them), which allows you to provide a personalized touch to the message.

Returned Order Details
It's not uncommon for a member to return a special order. These items are typically either shipped back to the vendor or simply entered into the shop's inventory. To assist with managing this type of scenario, you can now enter and store the following information in Golf Shop:
Returned to stock or vendor
Reason for return
Credit Chit #
Credit Memo #
Return Authorization #

Special Order Form Enhancements
In an effort to help streamline the order entry process and allow more customization, we've added the following features:
Ability to remove unneeded order entry fields from the form (e.g., Vendor SKU/Style #, Selling Price, etc.)

Mobile App Special Order Enhancements
Earlier this year, we introduced our Golf Genius Golf Shop mobile app. This app is a great complement to our web application, allowing you to easily access special order, demo club, and member profile information directly from your phone at any time.
We're excited to announce that we've launched a new update to this app with the following special order enhancements:
Access the Special Order Dashboard to view all current special orders
Place special orders to vendors
Upload files and logos
View and Manage:
Shipping information
Drop Ship information
Internal Notes
Notification Settings
Activity Log
Member and Vendor information
To take advantage of these new enhancements, make sure to update your mobile app. If you haven't downloaded the app yet, it can be downloaded from your Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Staff Scheduling
Staff scheduling is a critical part of every golf operation. Budgeting, building, and communicating weekly schedules for your inside and outside operation can be a time-consuming affair. To fill the need, we are excited to introduce our highly anticipated Staff Scheduling feature! This feature (Powered by SchedulePop for Clubs) allows you to:
Simplify the staff scheduling process and accurately track labor expenses versus budget
Publish and communicate staff schedules via text, email, iCal, and mobile app with one click
Easily coordinate and approve time-off requests, availability, and shift-swap requests
Improve team communication with built-in tools
After activating the Staff Scheduling feature, Golf Shop users responsible for scheduling will have access in Golf Shop through the web or a mobile app. The rest of the staff will be able to use a mobile app to view published schedules, request time off, and submit shift swap requests.

Demo Club Barcode Scanning
When it comes to demo club management, efficiency is key. Inventory is constantly changing and it can be challenging to keep up, especially during a busy season. Given this challenge, we are always looking for innovative ways to streamline the demo club process. Our latest solution?
Barcode scanning.
Using our Page Composer, you can now generate and print customizable labels that include barcodes unique to every demo club. Once attached to your demo clubs, you can open the Golf Shop mobile app and quickly scan the barcodes to check clubs in or out.
In addition to scanning from our mobile app, you can also use your shop computer's barcode scanner. Whenever Golf Shop is open in your web browser, simply scan the barcode to check the club in or out.

Order Dashboard Quick Search & Sort
While the Special Order Dashboard is a great place to get an overview of your current special orders, it can sometimes be challenging to find specific orders (especially if you have a busy dashboard). As a result, we've made the following enhancements:
Quick Search Special Orders: At the top of the Dashboard, you can now quickly search by member/guest name, vendor, club description, or other information.
Change Sort Order: You can now change the sort order of the special orders, by stage. You can also set a default sort method in the Special Order settings.

Summary Page Improvements
There are many summary pages throughout Golf Shop. The Member Roster, Vendor List, Demo Inventory Page, and other summary pages are frequently visited and very important to our users.
Therefore, we've made the following improvements to these pages to create a clean, consistent, and user-friendly experience:
Ability to customize which fields to display (and the order) directly from the summary page (shown below)
Clickable links on the summary page

Drop Ship Enhancements
A common situation, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, is the need to drop ship special orders to the homes of members. To do this, member shipping addresses need to be properly maintained and communicated to the vendor to ensure successful delivery.
To assist with drop ship scenarios in Golf Shop, we are introducing the following enhancements:
Ability to enter and store multiple shipping addresses for a member
Ability to select a shipping address to be used for a drop shipped order
New automated text and email notifications specific to drop shipped orders

Email Delivery Report
"I never received the email."
This is a comment that has likely come up once or twice from your members. Whether it's an automated email or bulk email, it's important to know that your members are receiving and opening emails being sent from Golf Shop.
With the introduction of the Email Delivery Report (a popular feature in our Tournament Management product), you can do just that. Using the Email Delivery Report, you can filter and find the following information on a previously sent email:
Delivery status (e.g., delivered, opened, clicked)
Number of opens and clicks
Subject and content of the email
For easy access, this information is also available in the Activity Log of specific orders and demos.

Survey Reports
Our Survey Feature (introduced a year ago) has been a huge hit across our entire customer base. Clubs have found that they can easily collect important member information and build detailed member profiles. The data collected from these surveys has allowed clubs to provide a personalized member experience and also assist with merchandising plans.
To build on the Survey feature, we are introducing the ability to generate survey reports. The following reports are now available:
Individual Responses (Spreadsheet): Organized by member, this detailed report lists every response to every survey question.
Response Summary by Question (Spreadsheet): Organized by question, this report provides an answer summary to every question.
Response Summary Report (PDF): This report displays the survey results in a professional and easy-to-read format.

Golf Shop Mobile App
Since its launch in early 2019, Golf Genius Golf Shop has changed the way special orders and demo clubs are managed in the golf shop. Staff members have been able to manage their tasks in an efficient and organized way while providing a great member experience through instant communication and detailed member profiles.
While Golf Genius Golf Shop is typically used from the shop's computer, the reality is that golf professionals, merchandisers, and other staff members often find themselves needing mobile access elsewhere on and off the property.
To provide access at all times, we're excited to introduce the Golf Genius Golf Shop Mobile App.
This app allows staff members to quickly access a member's dashboard to:
Manage current special orders or enter new orders
Check-in and check out demos
View and edit their member profile
Email, call, or text message the member directly from the phone
