Redesigned Member Profile

Looking for ways to get a better pulse on your membership and understand their needs? You can easily do this in Golf Genius Golf Shop by creating Member Profiles with useful member information to help you build on the customer experience at the club.

We've enhanced our Member Profile feature with a new design, new content, and more customization. Here are some highlights:

  • Member Profile information is now organized into tabs:

    • General: Name, contact information, gender, birthday, etc

    • Activity: Includes a log of the member's activity across all Golf Shop features (e.g., special orders, demo clubs, club repair, etc)

    • Notification Settings: Access and control the member's notification settings

    • Merchandise Preferences: A customizable tab that allows you to contain pertinent merchandising information (as shown below)

    • Other Custom Tabs: Create and design your own custom tabs with relevant and useful member information

  • Upload member profile image

  • Members can access their profile in Member Portals


​As a reminder, you can use our Survey feature to easily collect member information and populate Member Profiles.

Stock Order Calendar Summary

Viewing the Stock Order Calendar is a great way to visualize your upcoming orders and prepare for their deliveries. We've enhanced this page to include a quantity summary in the Monthly and Weekly view of the calendar.


In the example below, you'll see the quantity summary on the right for all July orders. The summary breaks down quantities for each product category and by brand within the product category.

Mobile App Enhancements

The following enhancements will be available in our upcoming mobile app update:

  • Manage your grip inventory by adding new grips, editing current grip details (e.g., quantity, par level, selling price, description, etc), and uploading images

  • Check out multiple demo clubs at once

  • Check out multiple rentals at once

These enhancements will be available in our next mobile app update scheduled for next week. If you haven't already, click on the links below to download the mobile app.

Additional Enhancements

The following web enhancements have also been included in this release:

  • New Stock Order Dashboard Tile label when the vendor has not opened the email

  • Check out multiple rentals at once

  • Ignore certain order information from Callaway Connect

  • New branding and logo

  • Ability to access multiple Golf Shop accounts through one user (typically needed for customers with multiple facilities). Please contact support to enable this feature.

Stripe Integration

Golf Shop is now integrated with Stripe, an online payment processing solution. With this integration, clubs can now securely collect and store customer credit card information when checking out a demo club or rental. If the demo club or rental is never returned, the item can be marked as "Not Returned" and the customer's credit card can optionally be charged.

Multiple Club Repairs

Oftentimes, a club or set of clubs requires multiple repairs. A common example would be reshafting and regripping a set of clubs. Managing this type of scenario is now much easier with the following enhancements:

  • Ability to "Create a Similar Repair" (like we do with Special Orders) and auto populate repair details

  • Multiple Repairs (associated with the same member) can now be grouped together on the dashboard

  • Single member notifications (as shown below) for multiple repairs

Itemized Category Report for Stock Orders

We've introduced a new itemized Stock Order Report that lists the item quantity (by product category) across all or some of your stock orders. You can further customize this report by selecting which categories and order data to include.

The example report below lists all stock orders with men's or ladies shirts where the expected ship date is in August or September.

Callaway Connect Integration

We’re excited to announce that Golf Shop is now integrated with Callaway Connect, Callaway Golf’s wholesale B2B eCommerce platform. This integration streamlines the special order process by sending custom order details to Golf Shop while providing timely updates to members.

New Menu Design

As Golf Shop continues to grow with new features, it's important that we continue to enhance the user experience and maintain easy navigation. We’ve added many new features that have greatly expanded the value of Golf Shop since it was launched, and realize it’s a good time to improve the original main menu.

We're excited to introduce a revamped modern menu that nicely organizes our growing set of features and improves accessibility. This new menu can be used in two modes fully controlled by the user:

  • Collapsed: Keep the menu minimized unless clicking on a menu item (as shown below). This mode maximizes your workspace in Golf Shop while still providing a clean user experience.

  • Expanded: Maintain the traditional experience of a fixed side menu that never collapses.

New Communication Center Features

Earlier this year, we introduced the Communication Center, designed to organize all of your membership communication tools. We've now added the following new features that will help you better manage your communications and connect with your membership:

  • Schedule email and text message campaigns for future dates

  • A calendar view of all emails and text messages (past and future) providing a high-level summary of your membership communication plan

  • New automated custom member notifications:

    • Birthday Notifications: Send automated birthday emails and text messages to your members

    • Follow-up Notifications: Send automated follow-up emails and text messages to your members a set number of days after a trigger (e.g., receiving special order, returning demo club, finalizing club repair, etc)

Rentals Management

Managing rentals throughout the season can certainly be challenging when dealing with mismatched rental sets and missing clubs (and even entire sets). With our new Rentals Management feature, you now have the tools to create a better-organized rental operation while providing a great experience for your members and other guests. This feature allows you to:

  • Upload an inventory of rental sets and other general items (e.g., range finders, pull carts, etc)

  • Easily print shaft labels for the rental clubs to ensure clubs remain in their correct golf bags

  • Print a barcode label for each rental enabling staff to easily scan rentals in and out of inventory

  • Send automated, customized notifications to guests and guest hosts during the rental period

  • Provide useful rental analytics to assist in optimizing your rental operation

Customize Daily Snapshot Frequency

Last October, we introduced the Daily Snapshot, a concise daily email sent to managers summarizing recent activity (and other important information) in Golf Shop. While some managers enjoy the daily emails, we learned that others prefer less frequent updates.

As a solution, you can now customize the exact days of the week you'd like to receive the automated email (as shown below). The content within each Snapshot will include all activity since the previous Snapshot was sent.

Special Order Quotes

The special order process typically involves providing members with pricing and other details, and it’s natural for them to want to confirm the item details and cost before finalizing their orders. Previously, this information was commonly communicated over the phone or through email exchanges with the member.

With this new feature release of Golf Shop, we’ve automated the process and made it much more efficient:

  • When entering or editing a special order that hasn't yet been placed, you can optionally send the member a quote through an automated email or text message.

  • Members can review the quote and approve or refuse the order through the automated notification. If refusing the order, the member can optionally enter the reason.

  • The manager who sent the quote will receive an automated email confirming that the order has been approved or refused by the member.

  • Throughout the process, the order will be properly labeled on the Special Order Dashboard as quote pending, quote approved, or quote refused.

Notify Multiple Repair Technicians

When a club repair is requested by a member, it's not always immediately understood who the assigned technician will be. Many golf shops have more than one staff member who could potentially "take the job".

To handle this scenario, you can now notify some (or all) of your technicians of a pending repair after it's been entered into Golf Shop. The technicians will receive an automated email or text message with the option to assign the repair to themselves on a 'first come first serve" basis.

This new feature will help streamline the repair process and ensure your members receive their newly repaired clubs in a timely manner.

Communication Center

Golf Shop has many communication tools to assist in enhancing the member experience and generate revenue for your shop. We've now organized these tools in a central and easily accessible location where you can view everything communication related.

The Communication Center will initially be organized into two sections: Email and Text Messages. Within these sections, you'll be able to:

  • Send new communications

  • View past communications (including email delivery reports)

  • Access your templates and our Template Library (which includes pre-built templates available to you)

  • Manage your automated communications

Please note that we plan to add more features to the Communication Center in the near future.

Staff Scheduling Enhancements

The following enhancements have been introduced in our Staff Scheduling feature powered by SchedulePop:

  • Ability to set an inactive status in the User Profile (including the ability to set the start/end date of the status)

  • New User Profile tab listing all shifts associated with the user that need to be reassigned due to inactive status

  • Improved Time Off Settings

  • Monthly Calendar improvements
